Virtual Reality Studio

The Media and Learning Technologies had a goal: turn a small, private photo studio into a virtual reality sandbox.

The result is an immersive learning space that allows our students to explore how emerging technology and media can the way we tell stories and learn. The room is equipped with Alienware computers powering the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and VR content capture using the Insta360 Pro Camera. Vive portable trackers, chroma green backdrops, and Mixcast software merges the real world with our virtual environments for interactive mixed reality experiences.
